Images of the Brothers
I have been working creating images of the Brothers. As I complete one I will post it to the blog. Work was all done in Photoshop CS2. Images I selected were taken of different actors I felt partly embodied the coontail brother's personality and look.

Uh? Where's Dave?
Just kidding. I like what you have done. The actors as far as I can tell embody the spirit of their counterpart quite well. I'm not quite sure what actor would be good for Dave. I'm tempted to say Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser). He has a good voice, a sleek look, and combines charming and quirky well. I've thought about maybe Christian Slater or Kevin Bacon, but neither quite fits anymore. Sadly, I'm not that familiar with the up and coming actors of the younger generation.
However, as I said, Rick, Barett, and Utah look great. I particularly like the poses. It is interesting to see the brothers as more dimensional, that is, other than a hand drawing.
The odd thing is that Barett thinks he is better dressed than Rick and therefore better looking. He just can't understand why the girls like Rick so much better. I bet it's cause he's taller, and not so dark and blunt. Oh well, Barett still does well with the ladies...But if he cold score some good time with Maria when Rick was done dating her and Rick didn't mind, he would tap that Bolivian mine.
Thanks for the posting, Rick. I was just kidding. I hadn't expected you to go through the trouble, but i do appreciate it. He looks stylish, very retro cool like James Dean. I never really linked those two.
I was watching Bones today and it hit me that David Boreanaz (also of Angel and Buffy fame) somewhat resembles Utah Blaine. He is quite sturdy and does frustrated very well. He also has the occasionally comic element that colors Utah's otherwise rather brooding existence.
I have yet to really link more actors with their Coontail counterparts. However, if you have seen Burn Notice on USA, I imaging Dave behaving in a similar fashion to the main character, Michael.

Thought of some more actors who resemble the brothers. I was watching Supernatural and remembered that I thought the actors resembled in both look and attitude (with a few obvious differences) both Barett and Rick. One is shorter, hard edged, sarcastic, and has an eye for the ladies. The other is taller, more cerebral, and idealistic. It is an interesting dynamic and the personalities play against one another very well.
